Is clean energy solved? Korean technology claims to produce hydrogen 30 times cheaper

Korea’s S&P Energy Research Institute made a press release on the 20th October and claimed that they have discovered a method for making clean energy with less cost. Dr. Sen Kim claims to have achieved the separation of Hydrogen using just 0.1kwh of electrical energy needed production of one cubic meter of H2 compared to the traditional electrolytic method that needs 4 – 4.5kwh required for one cubic meter of hydrogen.

Manufacturing the H2 with this new method will lower its cost 20-30 times. As known the expensive method of producing hydrogen holds this energy source from wide spreading. A hydrogen energy can be called “permanent clean energy”.

Lets Hope that these claims are soon verified and get their way to mass production and wide spreading so our every day car driving costs can get more reasonable.
